FAQ

Where are you located?
We are located in the basement of a log cabin just outside of Good Hope, Georgia. We do not have a public storefront yet.
What is your phone number?
Our number is (678)232-0268.
Please leave a message if needed. All messages will be returned A.S.A.P.
Do you have a printed catalog?
We do not have a current printed catalog. We can however email you a copy in the Microsoft Excel format. If interested please send a request through the Contact page.
What's going on with my order or backorder?
All registered customers can check for updated information on any current order or orders simply by logging in and clicking the Account Information link. Next, click the View Orders link to check the backorder status and order notes for all current orders.
Can I pay by check?
Yes, we'll take anything that spends. We've even been known to barter on occasion. Please visit the Ordering Info page for more information.
Unfortunately, this applies to U.S. orders only. All international orders are credit card only.
What is your return policy?
Any CD, DVD or Video may be returned if the item is unopened and has never been played. These returns are eligible for a full refund minus the original cost of shipping. If an item is received defective, the item or items will be replaced with duplicates. The customer is responsible for returning the merchandice to Venerable Music.
What if my order is lost in the mail?
Venerable Music will take responsibility until an order is delivered. All of our packages are shipped with Delivery Confirmation service from the U.S. Post Office. If an item is scanned as delivered, Venerable Music can no longer be held responsible. The only exception is if an error on our part is made in the shipping address. Please double check the information you enter.
All international orders are shipped with insurance. If your package does not arrive in six weeks from the time of shipping, a complete replacement will be sent.
Does Venerable Music insure all packages?
By default, all packages shipped outside of the U.S. are insured through Venerable Music. The insurance rate is billed at $1.00 for the first unit and $.50 for each additional unit. This price will be included in the cost of shipping on your order confirmation. Generally, if the order is over $100, the order will be insured through the U.S. Post Office. We will always quote the most cost effective way to get you your product. Orders shipped inside the U.S. are only insured on Express Mail.
How much are my old 78's worth?
We do not appraise the value of record collections. We do, on occasion, purchase bulk lots of 78rpm records. The more information you can supply on the records (such as sample labels, artists, conditions), the better your chances will be on obtaining an offer. If you have any questions that we can help you with, please contact us by email.
This CD sounds like an old record, is it defective?
Every effort is taken to filter and remove background noise from each recording. This can be done by various methods and with varying results. In many cases the masters are unavailable and the transfers are done directly from an orginal 78rpm record. If you are concerned about sound quality, we suggest staying away from recordings made prior to 1927.
