Description

Sadly this Chicago band made only three records in their long career, which ended tragically when all members perished in the Rhythm Club fire in 1940. This is their first release recorded in late 1928. Light scuffing and a few light scratches, A side plays well with 2.8-mil stylus, apart from several instances of peak distortion toward the end of the record. B side is more worn and has more peak distortion and a long narrow dig about 40 seconds from the start which affects 4 grooves but passes OK on my system. MP3 available on request. This record is from the personal collection of radio personality and music historian Barret “Dr. Demento” Hansen, who is starting to downsize portions of his collection.
