- Description
- Great early Calypso sides by Wilmoth Houdini with Gerald Clark/s Night Owls from 1931 Brunswick 7129. This is one of a four disc Album set, number 1023, on Brunswick that was a master repressing of very rare Lightning Brunswick 7000s. The original Houdini 7000s are very rare and this is likely the only way that you will get these master pressed sides. And they may well sound better than any original that you would be likely to get your hands on. Condition: V+; Plays loud and strong with generally quiet surface aside from some light to very light surface noise. Likely, possible occasional light clicking result of slightly bumpy pressing, though the record plays so strong noise is hardly noticeable. Scuffing and slight warp, n.a.p.
