- Description
- Two of Fuller's more colorful songs, recorded in Columbia, SC in 1938, one of his best sessions. Overall a very nice copy of this record with light scuffs and a few light scratches. I grade this as a weak E-, or E-V+, but since VM's grading system doesn't offer any grade options between E- and VG++, I used the higher grade for the first side and the lower grade for the flip side. Both sides look and play about the same using a 3.3-(or 3.5-)mil stylus, minor greying in the grooves and very minor distortion but a little more hiss than one would normally expect based on the appearance. MP3 available on request. This record is from the personal collection of radio personality and music historian Barret “Dr. Demento” Hansen, who is starting to downsize portions of his collection.
