Description

NYC recordings from July 1937, when Fuller strayed from ARC briefly to make a dozen sides for Decca. Possible water damage graininess mainly on the B side, which causes swish for the first half of that side. A side has much less swish but the right channel gets noisy for the second half of the record, left channel plays fine with a 3.3-mil stylus. MP3 available on request. There's an edge warp which requires a little extra weight for the first few grooves, which I will try to flatten out before the auction closes, and I'll remove this sentence if I'm successful. This record is from the personal collection of radio personality and music historian Barret “Dr. Demento” Hansen, who is starting to downsize portions of his collection.
