- Primary Artist
- Earl Johnson And His Clodhoppers
- Description
- Scarce, great Hillbilly String Band sides by Earl Johnson And His Clodhoppers, featuring (to quote Nevins regarding Earl Johnson “the wildest fiddler ever to record” no exception here), Emmett Bankston-bj and Lee “Red” Henderson. Condition: G,G-; Surface looks like hell, overall heavy rubbing and millions of fine light scratches and light to moderate graying, but music plays ok, over moderate to above moderate surface noise, though speech at beginning of “They Don’t Roost…” is fairly muffled, also passing dig on this side. Labels rubbed and faded.
