Description: Well there are not too many of these around. The Legendary Charley Patton on Paramount 12877. According to 78 Quarterly there are less than 10 of these in existence. Like most Charley Patton records this one is in G Condition. The bad news is the label damage. You can see the words Charley Patton on both sides, so it’s not a total loss. The good news is the record plays all the way through with no skips on both sides. My experience along with other collectors is that a G paramount can sometimes sound just as good as and E condition Paramount. That’s just the way they were made. You can hear Charley Singing and Strumming, you just have ignore the pops and crackles that play along with it. E-mail with questions, but this may not last long. This is about as cheap as a playable Charley Patton gets.
