Description
One of Bumble Bee Slim's best records, with Memphis Minnie on both sides. "New Orleans Stop Time" is included in the American Epic box set as a classic of mid-1930s blues, but it's more than just an uptempo blues record, nothing else quite like it. Very minor peak distortion on "New Orleans Stop Time," and the 1" scratch on "When Somebody Loses" causes moderate ticks for about 20 seconds, otherwise this is a very clean copy. MP3 available on request. This record is from the personal collection of radio personality and music historian Barret “Dr. Demento” Hansen, who is starting to downsize portions of his collection.
