California Ramblers

This record has a couple of different takes of St. James Infirmary issued, and this is my favorite of the 2 that I've heard. The other is much more conservative while this one is off the handle a bid. A-side does have some issues though. The biggest is a deep gouge of a needle run across the grooves. Right at the start of the gouge, it does cause the stylus to skip forward. Also a sizeable passing dig in the middle and a non-passing dig at the end. The end dig that repeats is at a perfect spot that plays the last groove over and over again on beat - a bit ghostly and something of a plus if you ask me. B-side doesn't really have any issues to speak of.
