Description: Probably one of the most sought after Hillbilly String Band 78s is Floyd (Hoyt) Ming’s Pep Steppers, “Indian War Whoop.” Hoyt Ming’s band hailed from the Tupelo, Mississippi area. Recorded in Memphis, Tennessee. Condition: G++; Despite condition issues, disc plays fairly strong over moderate to light surface noise throughout. Light to moderate graying of grooves (no stripping), overall moderate to heavy rubbing/scuffing and light grain. Slight warp at edge may require extra needle weight. Moderate damage to one label and slight water damage to both labels.
